Will I get approved if I have bad credit history or a criminal background?
Does Expressway issue credit?
No, Expressway does not issue credit. All Expressway’s rental plans are paid one week in advance.
How long does it take to get approved and get a vehicle?
1-2 business days
Where is Expressway available?
We operate in KW region.
Can I drive the vehicle outside of KW Region?
Yes. Expressway vehicles can be driven anywhere in Ontario, however you need to email us request long distance driving if you are planing to drive outside of a 200KM radius from Kitchener downtown.
Can I drive the vehicle across the US boarder, and into USA?
Under no circumstances can vehicles be driven across the US border. If a Expressway vehicle is taken into the US, access to Expressway’s Insurance policy will be waived, and the agreement will be cancelled.
Can my friend/partner/relative drive the vehicle?
Is there any Deductable?
There is a standard deductable of $800 to be paid regardless of fault.
What happens if I am unable to pay the deductible?
If you are unable to pay the deductible, we will not be able to provide a replacement vehicle and your agreement may be cancelled, Upon which, the Hirer will be charge two weeks in lue of notice.
What if I am involved in an accident but I’m not at fault?
If you are found not at fault, your deductible will be refunded once the claim has been settled. If fault is not determined, you will be liable for the deductible.
What if the damage is minor?
If the damage is minor, and there is no 3rd party involved, Expressway will process the deductible of $800.00 and provide you with a replacement vehicle. Once the claim has been processed, Expressway will reimburse you the difference between the cost of the repairs and the deductible paid.
Does Expressway Cover cracked windshields or flat tires?
NO. Expressway cover fair wear and tear, and warranty issues. Outside of this, the Member is responsible for all associated costs in the event of an incident.
How do I start / what do I need?
Do I need to have my own insurance?
When you are online with the ridesharing apps you are covered through their policies and all claims will go through them. When you are offline and using the car our policy will cover you, so you do not need to have your own insurance
Can I drive for personal use?
We know you have personal errands to run so we allow the personal use of our vehicle for up to 15,000km / year as part from the total 60,000km / year that we give you
Can my spouse or friend drive the car?
